Aidan received an MEng in Mechanical Engineering with Nuclear Technology from The University of Sheffield in 2018. Remaining at Sheffield, he completed a PhD in the Dynamics Research Group and associated with the DigiTwin project -- his research focussed on probabilistic graphical models and risk-based machine learning approaches for structural asset management and decision-support. Aidan is currently a research associate on the ROSEHIPS programme grant, his current research interests include transfer learning and game theory for population-based structural health monitoring and fleet-based asset management
