Chris graduated with a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield in 2019. He then joined the Dynamics Research Group (DRG) as a Ph.D. student within the EPSRC Prosperity Partnership. His research investigates the application of novel, data-driven techniques for enhanced monitoring systems in engineering applications. Specifically, on the implementation of machine learning algorithms in the context of Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM).
