Georgios Batzolis

Georgios is a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge in the Engineering Department with the Computational Statistics and Machine Learning Group. He received his PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Cambridge (DAMTP), in the Cambridge Image Analysis (CIA) Lab.

His research focuses on combining generative models with Riemannian geometry to learn data-driven Riemannian metrics that uncover the underlying geometry of data. He is also working on diffusion language models.
